Cross Country
XC HANDBOOK I hope to think everything you need to know about starting Cross Country is in this handbook. Inside, you will find information about practice, attire, attendance, food & drink, meet distance, transportation, and competition.
Meet Schedule Coming soon for 17-18! You can access the meet schedule along with the daily schedule in the navigation menu at the top of the page. Here is a PDF of the meet schedule in case you would like to print it out for your home.

Remind Code We use "Remind" in Cross Country.  "Remind" is a safe way for coaches to text message athletes and stay in touch with parents. This button will walk you through sign-up. You can also sign-up and subscribe at www.remind.com/join.

Insider's Guide Thanks to some wonderful parents, we have the ultimate guide to cross country planning and events such as parties, sectionals, and state. I highly recommend this short read. This "Insider's Guide" will open as a PDF.

IESA Website Here is the Illinois Elementary School Association's Cross Country Website. Check here for Sectional and State Meet updates. We will post the date for the State Meet when it becomes available.

Directions (coming soon) - Athletes are provided transportation to most away meets (with the exception of Sectionals and State in October). If you would like to come cheer on your athlete, here you can find addresses and directions to our away meets.

Pay Online Oak Grove offers the ability to make payments online through the Oak Grove home page. The following forms of payment are accepted: Visa, Mastercard, or American Express. This is a convenient, easy to use, secure, and FREE service.

Athletic Handbook Here is a PDF of the Athletic Handbook. Athletes and parents need to sign the permission slip at the end of the handbook. Please turn in the permission slip to a coach.

Twilight Shuffle 5k The Twilight Shuffle 5k (3.12 miles) is a GREAT opportunity for athletes to practice running at an event that is "similar" to what our meets will be like.  Not only is this great practice, but it is a great way to get involved in our community.  Even better, PARENTS can run with their kid/s (or in front of them... or behind them).  This button links to the race website.
