Oak Grove School District 68 Curriculum and Instruction
Mission Statement & Background Info
Our Mission Statement: Educating and inspiring all students to reach their full potential in an ever-changing world.
Oak Grove School is a K-8 District located in Lake County, Illinois. We are a single school building and serve a population of over 800 students. We approach the learning process by providing a hands-on active learning environment by friendly, well-trained professional staff. Students are treated as individuals, acknowledging their varying needs and abilities by addressing the social, physical, emotional, and academic areas of development. We believe that a supportive, nurturing educational environment focuses on the whole child, including a child’s intellectual, social, emotional and physical needs. Oak Grove strives to build the foundation for well-rounded students.
