Dear Oak Grove parents & guardians:

There is a lot of discussion occurring, not only in our community, but throughout the entire region, regarding ethylene oxide (EtO) emissions.  Two local industries, Medline Industries in Waukegan and Vantage Specialty Chemicals in Gurnee have been targeted as facilities emitting EtO.  We know that many of our citizens are greatly concerned about this topic.  Thus, we are sharing information that is provided by the Lake County Health Department (LCHD) on their website.  It has up to date information and the results of all the testing that has been conducted at the plants.  We hope this information is useful to you.  Please click here to access the LCHD information.

With Oak Grove pride,

Dr. Lonny Lemon
