Mrs. Bonnie Taylor - Kindergarten -5th Grade
(847) 367-4120 extension 2706
"I grew up in the Chicago northwest suburbs as the middle of three children. I attended Northern Illinois University where I received my BS in Education. I taught kindergarten in Itasca and in Lake Villa for 7 years before taking a break to raise my 3 children. I then spent 7 years substituting in central Ohio, and in IL. I joined the Oak Grove Family in 2005 and received my MA as Reading Specialist in 2009 from St. Xavier, Chicago. My experience teaching reading in kindergarten has given me a vast background in identifying difficulties encountered in learning to read. I am excited to join the reading team and I look forward to working with multiple age groups. In my spare time I enjoy yoga and running. I also treasure family time spent with my 3 grown children now living in NYC, Chicago, and Austin, TX."
