Technology Vision/Action Plan

Starting in the summer of 2013, Oak Grove administrators and the technology team began to meet with retired superintendent Dr. Douglas Parks in a series of sessions designed to help us take the vision we had for technology at Oak Grove and get it down into an "action plan" format.

We believe the following: Oak Grove School stakeholders effectively use technology as an important tool for learning, creating, and sharing. Technology positively transforms the learning experience to prepare our students for success now and in the future. The vision/action plan breaks these beliefs down into specific objectives, who is responsible for each objective, what action steps need to be taken for each objective, and a timeline for each step.  While this may not make for the most interesting reading, it is an important tool to make sure that we are thinking about the necessary steps to be able to accomplish what we set out to do.  The vision/action plan is a work in progress, and some of the items will never be "finished." In education, we are never done; we need to keep moving forward, and the vision/action plan is a tool that helps us do that.
