Last PTO Meeting of the Year
Make sure to attend the last PTO meeting of the year on Wednesday, May 17 at 9:30 am in the Elementary Library. Zoom will also be available, but come in person if you can because we will be honoring 2023 retirees! Mr. Farris has some students coming to perform and light refreshments will be served. Meeting documents include the agenda, minutes from 5-3 and proxy ballot. We will be voting on one request for funds as well as voting to confirm the 2023-2024 Committee Chairperson slate and the 2023-2024 budget. Note: there are still events that do not have a chairperson, which means the event may be canceled. Please step up to help ensure that Oak Grove School continues to be a strong community with events for our families! Email president@ogspto.org if you’re interested in filling an open committee chairperson role.

Field Day Volunteers
Thank you to all who have signed up to volunteer at Field Day on Friday, May 26 from 8:30-11:00am! Please email Karin Pawlowski or Laura Reutzel if you’d like to be added to their list of backup volunteers.

23-24 School Supply Orders
Pre-pack school supply sale is open! The PTO is partnering once again with Educational Products, Inc. (EPI). This company has put together individual school supply packs to match the current school supply list for 2023-2024 school year. You will find the prices online and also on the info sheet found in the virtual backpack. Just follow the link to their website. Type in our Oak Grove code OAK039 . Then find your grade level pre-pack needed and place your order. All of the non-consumable items are guaranteed for the year. If your student's binder, scissors, pencil bag, headphones, ruler etc. are damaged during the school year, the company will replace them. Place your order before June 4. After June 4 there will be a $10 late fee. No orders will be accepted after July 25. If you have any questions please contact Jennifer Liu.

THANK YOU for your Book Fair Generosity!
Thank you OGS Families for making our K-8 Buy One Get One Free Book Fair a HUGE success! Because of you, we were able to purchase books for every OGS teacher who filled a Wish List Basket. And the All For Books Dollar Challenge raised nearly $1,500 for Reading Power. Your generosity brought smiles to so many faces. We hope your kids had as much fun as we did! Happy Reading! Huge thanks to Kelly Epley for chairing the Book Fair and to all the volunteers who worked shifts throughout the event.

Teacher Appreciation Week Smiles!
Thank you Mel Lyon for chairing all the amazing Teacher Appreciation Week activities and to the volunteers that supported throughout the week. We’ve heard from teachers who felt loved and celebrated and we couldn’t do that without the support of our awesome OGS community.
