Angela Phillips is an accomplished educational leader with over two decades of experience supporting diverse learners and fostering inclusive, student-centered programming across multiple districts. Currently serving as the Director of Student Services at Oak Grove School District 68, Mrs. Phillips oversees student support services, including special education and Section 504 supports, English learner programming, intervention supports, nursing services, and MTSS implementation. Additionally Mrs. Phillips is the McKinney-Vento liaison. Known for her collaborative approach and systems-level thinking, she plays a key role in professional development, student intervention, and compliance with state and federal guidelines.

Throughout her career, Mrs. Phillips has held a variety of leadership roles in suburban school districts, including Assistant Director of Student Services in Park Ridge-Niles District 64 and North Chicago District 187, as well as Division Chair of Special Education at Zion-Benton Township High School and Associate Principal at Alan B. Shepard Middle School. In each position, she has championed inclusive practices, led staff training on topics such as goal writing, executive functioning, de-escalation, and Universal Design for Learning, and strengthened systems for progress monitoring and student data use. She is also a Certified Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Instructor with a specialization in Autism, training district staff and administrators on safe and effective crisis response practices.
