Alexa Dunn
Director of Teaching and Learning
Alexa Dunn currently serves as the Director of Teaching and Learning, bringing a strong background in curriculum design and instructional leadership. With over a decade of experience in education, Alexa began her career at Oak Grove School as an 8th grade English Language Arts teacher, a role she held for nine years before transitioning into leadership first as a Program Specialist and then Curriculum Coordinator. In each role, Alexa has demonstrated a proven ability to develop, coordinate, and enhance curriculum, as well as to create and implement innovative programs tailored to student needs. Alexa earned a Master’s degree from Columbia College of Missouri in 2012 and an Educational Specialist degree from National Louis University in 2023. Known for a strengths-based approach to curriculum design, Alexa is committed to promoting student growth and achievement by collaborating with staff to improve educational practices and outcomes.
