Cheryl Matheson

When Cheryl Matheson retires at the end of the 2023-2024 school year, she will have taught for 38 years, twenty-seven of those have been at Oak Grove School. She has taught grades 4, 5 and 6. Cheryl has taught all subjects, however, math is her favorite. Her goal is to help her students build their math confidence.

Cheryl is married and has two grown children and two granddaughters. She lives just 25 minutes from OGS on Fox Lake, where she enjoys boating, swimming with her golden retrievers, running, and gardening. The lake is her happy place.
