Heather McCarty

Mrs. McCarty is a 5th grade teacher at Oak Grove. She has taught 3rd grade and Tech/Library classes at Oak Grove since 1999 and looking forward to teaching 5th graders. Mrs. McCarty's husband is a teacher at Vernon Hills High School. She has 2 children. Cate is working as an IT Recruiter in Chicago and Dylan is finishing his Masters of Accounting at the University of Illinois. They both attended Oak Grove and have fond memories of their time here. In her free time, Mrs. McCarty enjoys spending time with friends, going to Lake Michigan, and reading.
