Erin Vance is an advocate for arts education and its importance on the creativity and mental health of our youth. Mrs. Vance believes in creating well-rounded students and exposing them to as many trades, cultures and skills during their education so that they can grow to choose their own pathway while supporting and appreciating the paths of others.
Erin Vance has been at Oak Grove since 2012 as a visual arts teacher. She has taught all grades K-12 during her teaching career. Mrs. Vance has a BFA from the University of Illinois (2006) and an MsEd. from Northern Illinois University (2010). She continues to take studio classes to enhance her learning in various art medium. Mrs. Vance has been the head cheerleading coach at Libertyville High School since 2015 and enjoys seeing and connecting with many of her former students during after school hours.
