Richard Frankowski

Rick Frankowski started at Oak Grove School in August of 2020. He currently teaches 3rd grade general music, 4th grade general music and 5th-8th grade students in the Oak Grove Bands. He earned his Bachelors of Music Education degree from Northern Michigan University in 2017 before returning home to Lake County. After teaching choir, guitar and directing the school plays in Lake Villa, Illinois, Mr. Frankowski brought his passion for music to Oak Grove! Some of his favorite memories include performing in the Disney World Light Parade with his high school marching band, touring around Finland with the Marquette City Band (Michigan) and playing with local groups such as the Deerfield and Buffalo Grove Community Bands.
